British Chevening Scholarship 2009

The Chevening Scholarships programme is funded by the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and administered by us. The programme offers outstanding graduates and young professionals the opportunity to study at UK universities.

Chevening scholarships are not available to anyone who has benefited in the last three years from other awards funded by the British Government. In the 2008/09 academic year five were offered (the number of scholarships offered varies each year).

Application Form
Applications for Chevening Scholarships for study in the 2009/10 academic year are now open. The application deadline is midnight Sunday 19 October.

No late applications will be accepted
In your application you will be asked to list contact details for two referees. Note, referees should be professional and/or academic.

Indo-Us Research Fellowship Awards IUSSTF 2008

Future ARC Prize International Design Competition For Green Architecture 2009

FuturArc Prize 2009 is organised by FuturArc Journal. The FuturArc Prize was launched in 2007 by the BCI Group of Companies through its publication arm, FuturArc Journal, to seek out innovative Green building designs for sites in Australasia. Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation has announced its Post Graduate Scholarship for the year 2009-2010. The Narotam Sekhsaria Scholarship programme is the Foundation’s endeavor to promote academic excellence in India. The Foundation aims to recognize and promote excellence. Eligibility Criteria for Narotam Sekhsaria Scholarships:

Scholarships are open to all Indian citizens of either sex who hold a good degree from a recognised university and are resident in India at the time of application. All applicants must have done their first degree in India. It is essential to have prior admission to the institution and course chosen. The Foundation will not consider candidates without admission or pending admission. The institutions concerned must only be top rank. Candidates must be below 30 years of age on the first of July in the year of application. Preference will be given to candidates who have not yet studied abroad. Candidates who are already studying or have started their program abroad are not eligible. The award of other grants, teaching assistantships and support from other sources for the proposed programme will be regarded by the Foundation as a positive factor.
